Hye Won Yi

Hye Won Yi is a textile designer, illustrator, and graphic designer, who has a huge love for travel and passion for design trend and color. She has positive and light-hearted personalities, and they are reflected in her whimsical work.

As a designer, Hye Won Yi had worked at Target Corporate Headquarters on various design teams, including Seasonal Home, Kids, and Pet. She has been recognized by the buyers and colleagues for her remarkable talent, creativity, and highly-marketable designs. She also has done illustrations for a number of children's books for Picture Window Books.

Hye Won Yi was raised in Seoul, South Korea and moved to St. Paul, Minnesota with her family when she was eighteen. She earned BFA in Illustration from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

Besides working, she enjoys traveling to Tokyo and Seoul to stay in touch with inspirations from the East, her friends and extended families.
